Summit Policies
The ownership of the Mass Timber Group Summit ("Summit") belongs to Mass Timber Group, LLC and is managed by it's principals, partners, and contractors ("Management"). The official address of Mass Timber Group, LLC is 2104 27th Avenue, Missoula, MT 59804.
All Attendees, Exhibitors, and sponsors commit to adhering to the Summit Policies ("Policies") upon registration, formulated by Management, with the understanding that modifications may occur at Management's discretion to ensure the safe operation of the Summit.
The Summit is scheduled to occur from July 31st - August 2nd, 2024, at the Denver Art Museum ("Venue") in Denver Colorado, USA. While the original plan is for an in-person gathering, unforeseen circumstances, and events beyond Management's control might necessitate a shift to a virtual-only format, or a rescheduling of the Summit. The ultimate decision on the Summit's format & time rests solely with Management.
Attendee Admission Policy
You must be registered and in possession of a registration confirmation (physically or electronically) to enter any Summit session, venue or event. Name badges and lanyards will be issued to each Attendee and must be worn at all times while inside the Summit venues. Management reserves the right to validate and verify any Attendee's registration at any time. Any Attendee found to be in violation of this policy may be asked to vacate the Summit venue and/or related sessions.
COVID -19, Pandemics, Illnesses and Related Health Concerns
Attendees acknowledge the potential health risks associated with COVID-19 and other diseases during their participation in the Summit, understanding that exposure to these conditions, including but not limited to influenza and/or MRSA, may result in injury or illness, possibly leading to paralysis or death.
It is agreed by Attendees that, in the 14 days preceding the Summit, if they have experienced symptoms such as fever, fatigue, difficulty in breathing, or dry cough, or displayed any other symptoms related to COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, they will refrain from attending the Summit.
Attendees take full and personal responsibility for their safety and conduct throughout the Summit, recognizing the inherent risk of contracting COVID-19 despite the precautions implemented by Mass Timber Group, LLC, and the Summit.
In full awareness of these potential risks, Attendees hereby release, waive, and discharge Mass Timber Group, LLC, Management, and the Summit from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action, whether direct or indirect. This release encompasses any loss, damage, injury, or death that may occur due to COVID-19 or other diseases and illnesses. It applies to participation in any activity within, on, or around the Summit Venue and during any official Summit functions, gatherings, and/or tours that may lead to unintended exposure or harm from COVID-19 or other diseases and illnesses.
Indemnification
Attendees, Sponsors, Exhibitors, and guests thereof, will indemnify, defend, and hold the Mass Timber Group, LLC, and Management, harmless from and against any claims relating directly or indirectly to, or arising out of, content posted on Mass Timber Group, LLC’s websites, social media, event, use of Attendees, Sponsors, Exhibitors, and guests thereof materials, or use of Attendees, Sponsors, Exhibitors, and guests thereof logos and trademarks.
Mass Timber Group, LLC and Management will not be responsible for damage to or loss of property belonging to Attendees, Sponsors, Exhibitors, and guests there, their employees, contractors, or agents or for personal injury to the their employees, contractors, agents, directors, or invitees except to the extent that claims may be solely and directly attributed to willful misconduct or gross negligence Mass Timber Group, LLC and/or Management’s employers, directors, or officers.
Attendees, Sponsors, Exhibitors, and guests thereof will give Mass Timber Group, LLC and Management prompt written notice of any suit or claim that comes within the purview of these indemnities.
Force Majeure
In the event that the Summit is unable to be held on the scheduled date, is interrupted, rescheduled or cancelled due to a Force Majeure event, such as acts of God, government actions, war, terrorism, natural disasters, epidemics, pandemics, or any other unforeseen and extraordinary circumstance beyond the control of Mass Timber Group, LLC and Management, these policies may be terminated immediately. If such termination occurs, Mass Timber Group, LLC and Management shall not be liable or responsible for loss of business, profits, expenses, or damages of any kind whatsoever, nor shall they be deemed in breech of these Policies, and Attendees, Sponsors, Exhibitors, and guests thereof waive any and all claims related thereto.
Limitation of Liability
Mass Timber Group, LLC and Managements maximum liability hereunder shall be limited to the amount paid by Attendees, Sponsors, Exhibitors, and guests thereof directly to Mass Timber Group, LLC and/or Management in consideration for Summit passes, sponsorships, and exhibit spaces. Under no circumstances shall Mass Timber Group, LLC be liable for indirect or incidental damage arising from the Summit or these Policies.
Media Release
Attendees, Sponsors, Exhibitors, and guests thereof grant Mass Timber Group, LLC and Management the right and permission to use their likeness, image, photograph, video, presentation in any matter or media.
Attendees, Sponsors, Exhibitors, and guests thereof are encouraged to take images and/or video of Summit activates and distribute at their discretion.
Refund Policy
Attendees may cancel their purchase(s) at any time before June 31st, 2024 subject to the refund policies and timelines contained in the Attendee registration confirmation.
