2025 Mass Timber Group Summit Policies
The ownership of the Mass Timber Group Summit ("Summit") belongs to Mass Timber Group, LLC and is managed by its principals, partners, and contractors ("Management"). The official address of Mass Timber Group, LLC is 2104 27th Avenue, Missoula, MT 59804.
All Attendees, Exhibitors, and Sponsors commit to adhering to these Summit Policies ("Policies") upon registration. These Policies are formulated by Management and may be modified at Management's discretion to ensure the safe and effective operation of the Summit.
Event Dates and Format
The Summit will take place August 20-22, 2025, at the Denver Art Museum("Venue") in Denver, Colorado, USA. The current plan is for a nin-person event; however, unforeseen circumstances—such as weather, government restrictions, health concerns, or other extraordinary events—may require the Summit to shift to a virtual format, reschedule, or adjust its programming. Management retains sole discretion in determining the Summit’s final format and schedule.
Attendee Admission Policy
All attendees must be registered and possess a valid registration confirmation(electronic or physical) to access any Summit session, venue, or event. Name badges and lanyards will be issued at check-in and must be worn at all times while inside Summit venues.
Management reserves the right to verify any attendee’s registration at anytime. Attendees found in violation of this policy may be asked to leave the Summit venue and/or related sessions.
Health & Wellness Policy
Attendees acknowledge the potential health risks associated with participation in a large event, including exposure to communicable diseases such as COVID-19,influenza, or others.
Attendees agree that if they experience symptoms of illness (fever, cough, fatigue, shortness of breath, etc.) within 14 days prior to the Summit, they will refrain from attending. By attending, participants assume full responsibility for their own health and safety, understanding that Mass Timber Group, LLC and Management will implement reasonable safety measures but cannot eliminate all risk.
In registering for the Summit, Attendees waive and release Mass Timber Group, LLC, its principals, partners, contractors, and Management from any and all liability, claims, demands, and actions related to illness, injury, or other health impacts resulting from attendance at the Summit. This waiver applies to participation in Summit-related activities both within and outside the primary venue.
Indemnification
Attendees, Sponsors, Exhibitors, and their guests agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mass Timber Group, LLC and Management from any claims arising from:
- Content they post on Mass Timber Group’s websites, social media, or event platforms
- Use of their materials, logos, or trademarks by Mass Timber Group, LLC for promotional purposes
- Any injury, property loss, or damages caused directly or indirectly by their actions at the Summit.
Mass Timber Group, LLC is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to any personal or business property of Attendees, Sponsors, Exhibitors, or their guests.
Force Majeure
If the Summit is canceled, rescheduled, or materially altered due to a Force Majeure event (including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, natural disasters, epidemics, pandemics, government actions, or any extraordinary event beyond Management’s control), these Policies may be terminated immediately.
In such cases, Mass Timber Group, LLC and Management will not be responsible for any loss of business, profits, or damages, nor shall they be deemed in breach of these Policies. Attendees, Sponsors, Exhibitors, and their guests waive any and all claims related to Force Majeure disruptions.
Limitation of Liability
The maximum liability of Mass Timber Group, LLC and Management under these Policies is limited to the amount paid directly to Mass Timber Group, LLC by the affected Attendee, Sponsor, Exhibitor, or guest for Summit registration, sponsorship, or exhibit space.
In no event shall Mass Timber Group, LLC or Management be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the Summit or these Policies.
Media Release
By participating in the Summit, all Attendees, Sponsors, Exhibitors, and their guests grant Mass Timber Group, LLC and Management permission to use their likeness, image, photograph, video, presentation, or related content in any media format, for promotional and educational purposes.
Photography and video recording by Attendees, Sponsors, and Exhibitors is encouraged. Participants are welcome to share Summit-related content across their own channels at their discretion.
Refund Policy
Attendee registration purchases may be canceled until June 30, 2025. Refund requests are subject to the refund policies and timelines stated in the Attendee registration confirmation. After June 30, 2025, all purchases are non-refundable.
